Are you insured?

Yes - we are fully insured up to £1 million for mobile car detailing. You can have complete peace of mind that your vehicle is in safe hands. If you have any specific questions about our insurance coverage please don't hesitate to get in touch.

How long have you been detailing?

Collets Auto Detailing was founded in 2020 in East Preston, West Sussex. We started with a passion for cars and a basic kit and have grown into a professional mobile detailing brand trusted by hundreds of clients across West Sussex. We're proud of every vehicle we work on.

How do I maintain my car after a detail?

After a detail we recommend avoiding washing the car for 48 hours to allow any protection products to fully cure. When you do wash it use a pH neutral shampoo and a soft microfibre mitt. Avoid automatic car washes as the brushes can scratch your paintwork and strip the protective coatings we've applied.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Not much - just make sure the vehicle is accessible and that you've removed any personal belongings from the interior. If there are any areas of particular concern like heavy staining or damage just let us know when booking so we can prepare accordingly.

Do you come to my home or workplace?

We come to wherever is most convenient for you — your home, workplace, car park or anywhere else with suitable access to the vehicle. We bring all our own equipment, However, we do require access to water and electricity.

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

We're based in East Preston, West Sussex and cover a wide radius including Worthing, Rustington, Angmering, Littlehampton, Lancing, Shoreham, Arundel, Findon and Storrington. Check our Areas We Cover page for the full list. There are no travel charges within our standard coverage zone.

Do you offer any discounts for regular customers?

Yes - we have a loyalty rewards programme for regular clients. Every 5 attended appointments you'll receive a free exterior wash. We also occasionally run seasonal promotions so it's worth following us on Instagram to stay up to date.

Are your prices fixed or do they vary?

Our advertised prices are our standard rates for most vehicles. Pricing may vary slightly for larger vehicles such as vans, SUVs or vehicles in particularly poor condition that require extra time and product. We'll always confirm the final price before starting any work.

How do I pay for my service?

We accept card payment, bank transfer and cash. Payment is taken on the day of the service once the work is complete and you're happy with the results. For larger services like the Full Valet & Enhancement we may request a small deposit at time of booking.

What products do you use?

We use premium Koch Chemie products throughout all our services. Koch Chemie is a professional grade German brand trusted by detailers worldwide for its quality, safety and results. We don't use supermarket or budget products on your vehicle.

Do you detail motorbikes and vans as well as cars?

Yes — we detail cars, SUVs, vans and motorbikes. Pricing may vary slightly for larger vehicles. Get in touch before booking and we'll confirm the right service and price for your specific vehicle.

Which service is right for my vehicle?

It depends on the condition of your vehicle and what you're looking to achieve. For regular maintenance the Classic Care or Executive Valet are ideal. For vehicles that haven't been detailed in a while or need paint correction the Platinum Detail or Full Valet & Enhancement would be more suitable. If you're unsure just get in touch and we'll recommend the right package.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes - we ask for at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. You can get in touch by phone or email and we'll sort it out for you. Please see our cancellation policy on the website for full details.

What happens if the weather is bad on my booking day?

We monitor the weather closely and will contact you in advance if conditions are unsuitable. Interior only services can always go ahead regardless of weather. For exterior services we'll reschedule at no charge to the next available date that works for you.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We currently offer weekend availability only - Saturday and Sunday. We recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance to secure your preferred slot as weekends fill up quickly. It's always worth getting in touch to check availability as we occasionally have last minute slots become available.

How do I book a service?

We operate weekends only — Saturday and Sunday. You can book directly through our website by visiting the Book Now page, selecting your service and choosing a date and time that works for you. Alternatively call us on 07539 016 701 or email JCValetservice@gmail.com and we'll get you booked in.
